Judging/Wicked/Happy

Today was one of those days that was more eventful than a whole week. It's one that I want to remember.

Part One: Dear Starbucks barista, when I order my non-fat, grand hazelnut latte don't mutter "Ugh damn hipsters" too loud. It makes you look really rude.

Part T
wo: It was raining a so I decided to pick up an umbrella. Cute umbrella? Yes. Piece of crap? Oh yeah! After a good struggle to open the umbrella and having countless nice and respectable men walk by smirking at my dilemma, the one person to ask if I needed help was a homeless man. He opened it with ease and chuckled as he handed it back to me, and then wished me a great day. It got me thinking - I really need to stop judging people. All of those nice looking, well dressed people walked past with no intention of helping someone in need, I know, it was just an umbrella. But you get what I'm saying. Sometimes it takes people you always looks past to really open your eyes and change your perspective.

Part Three:
Today was my Grandpa's big 65th birthday; hello Canadian pension plan! The family got together for a big brunch and then we were all surprised with our early Christmas gifts - tickets to the musical, Wicked. Simply put the show was incredible. The music was chilling, beautiful costumes, and outstanding sets. If you haven't seen it I suggest getting tickets before it leaves Toronto.

Part Four:
After an impulse coat purchase - it's really cute so whatever - I am officially broke, but I can genuinely say I am really happy right now. I think I needed to spend some time with family and get my head on straight again. For now I'm stress free and okay with having a non-existent bank balance!
