Oh, nostalgia!

Remember those amazing little memories from your childhood? It could be the smell of a room or the sound of an old car. Well last night as I was hanging out with my dad and grandparents I was able to relive one of my favourite memories growing up. Scratch tickets, a sports bar, potato skins, and Pat Benatar playing in the background. Classy, eh?

Growing up we would go to a convenience store, pick up a couple scratch bingo tickets and go to TKO's, a sports bar around Danforth and Coxwell. We'd split some potato skins and catch up. After doing this again, by the end of the night I realized how much I missed little things like this. Going back and redoing your favourite thing as a child is a really good feeling, and you look at it with the new perspective you've gained over the years.

Everyone should go out and do something they loved doing as a child, whether it be a game of cops and robbers or a trip to a park, do something you used to love with people you care about.
